Si des sons peuvent éteindre un feu, il est facile de comprendre comment les sons peuvent affecter notre santé.

Deux ingénieurs américains ont mis au point un dispositif capable d’éteindre un feu en utilisant uniquement des sons basse fréquence. Leur projet en phase de développement pourrait trouver des débouchées dans les lieux où les extincteurs à eau ou mousse ne sont pas adaptés.
